Headed up by sound recordist Sam Hamilton-Turner, Downshift Audio has spent 12 years recording the most prestigious and sought-after cars on the planet. From modern-day hypercars to 1980s F1 V8s to Judd V10s that could pierce a hole through space.
This is specialist work, dealing with extreme sound pressure levels, wind noise & mechanical chaos. But from that, we capture what makes these cars extraordinary: their voice.
